Burleigh St has now completed and Robert Sayle began trading in September 2004. Once the Grand Arcade is completed and Robert Sayle relocate to their new permanent store the old Burleigh St store will be converted into a mixed use scheme with retail at the ground floor， offices at the 1st floor and residential above， as per the original planning permission.
The relocation of Robert Sayle to Burleigh St will help regenerate an area which has become run down by injecting life and activity. In parallel， as part of the Burleigh St development extensive refurbishment works have been carried out along Fitzroy St and Burleigh St to improve the public realm. The works include among other things new pavings and new street lighting.
